Curecanti NationalRecreation Area 60 Miles Three dams comprise the Curecanti Storage Units: Crystal Dam, Morrow Point Dam, and Blue Mesa Dam. Of the three, the beautiful Blue Mesa provides recreational opportunities. The largest body of water in Colorado offers summer travelers excellent fishing, camping and boating, while winter enthusiasts enjoy ice fishing and snow mobiling. The 469 ft. Morrow Point Dam allows for free self guided tours of the huge underground power plant. Tours are usually available by contacting the Cimarron Visitor Center for information.
